Homework policy:
*Students are asked to spend a minimum of 20 minutes reading at least 6 evenings per week.
*Students are responsible for learning basic multiplication/division facts. A minimum of 5 minutes reviewing each night will help children in their mastery of this important concept.
**Students are given class time to begin and possibly finish assigned work. If it is not completed at school it will need to be completed at home.
Students should be reading books at their individual lexile ranges. New lexile information will be provided upon completion of Aimsweb Benchmark Testing in September. Please let me know if you need assistance finding appropriate choices.
Students may take Reading Counts quizzes upon completion of a book. This can be done both at school and at home! If the book does not have an assessment, they can write a 1 or more paragraph summary.
